After the loss of my dad, both my mom and I feel an overwhelming void in our lives. His absence weighs heavily on us, yet we strive to move forward despite the challenges. As an inclusion advocate, I participate in various events across different cities, but I can’t leave my mom alone, especially given her physical health issues and the depression stemming from our loss. Due to knee pain, she now relies on a wheelchair.
Traveling together as two wheelchair users presents its own set of challenges, but we are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) . Whether we are traveling from Chennai to Goa or Mumbai, their assistance has made a significant difference in our journey. This support allows me to continue my mission of promoting inclusion in society while ensuring that my mom is cared for and not alone.
