I was honored to be invited by Frob - Friends of Books to speak at their event at Utsav, Aerocity, Delhi, organized in partnership with GMR Aerocity New Delhi . The event provided me with a wonderful opportunity to screen two of our films, which were received warmly by the audience.
The poets' meet, themed around "Desh," was truly inspiring and was expertly moderated by Mr. Dheeraj, who ensured the session was engaging and meaningful. Each poet brought their unique style and perspective, making the event rich and diverse. One moment that particularly touched my heart was when Mr. B.D. Paliwal, one of the poets, spoke highly of my mother’s extraordinary efforts in raising me. His words were deeply moving and reminded me of the immense strength and love she has always shown.
During the meet, I also found myself reminiscing about my father's deep love for poetry, which I shared with the poets present. I couldn’t help but think how happy he would have been to witness such a gathering. His passion for poetry would have made this event particularly special for him.
It was also a delight to reconnect with our wheelchair basketball players from Delhi and UP, and to meet WBFI President Varun after a long time. Seeing them again brought back many memories and reaffirmed our shared commitment to the sport.
